I was thinking of putting a note card in with my invitations for a song request to get a feel for the kind of music my guests like. I want a nice variety.
Do you think this is too informal to include with my invitations???
To clarify.. not the card itself, the idea of including a song request card with invites.

we thought about doing it but dont want people to get upset when we DONT play their song! we asked our DJ to only allow bridal party requestes...

Egh.....I don't see a problem with the idea, but it doesnt seem like something I would do.

Looks informal and extra work. If people want to make a request, they will ask the DJ directly.

This may become a headache for your DJ, keep the music varied to appeal to all of your guests.

I wasn't planning on giving these to my DJ I kind of just wanted to get an idea for 'must play songs' especially some of the oldies that appeal to my parents and grandparents generation. I love current dance music but I just want to make sure the music appeals to everyone, including the older crowd. But I guess this isn't my DJ's first rodeo lol hopefully if I explain this to him he gets it and will know what to play.
