i'm getting married at Chateau in April and have never been to the Riviera so obviously I'm biased.....
I like the Riviera.. it's a little different from the typical LI wedding venue.. and I love the rustic-y look to it
I love the rustic look, heard its a nice wedding there!
I went to a wedding at the Riviera last november and it was so much fun! The location is awesome and all of the bride's pictures near the water were so gorgeous! She is particularly picky when it comes to food so she requested a bacon cheeseburger go on the night's menu. People LOVED it! I've never been to a wedding at the chateau though.
Personally, I dont like the set up at the Riviera- we had trouble seeing all of the happenings on the dance floor from my seat. Affected the dances, the cake cutting etc. The cocktail hour was great outside, but it also depends on what time of year you're looking for. I like the set up at Chateau better.
I don't know much about either but maybe something to help u decide, the Riviera is on the water, its always colder by the water..... do u want pics out side? is there good photo opps inside? if the cold isn't something that bothers u then disregard lol
i love the riviera - so unique :)
I went to take a look at the Riviera on Sunday. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. I didn't care for it at all. Didn't like the setup of it and I thought it was too dark inside, but that's my opinion lol
I also didn't like how indoor cocktail hour is around the corner but still in the same room.
I think maybe you should try the food
both places are good.
I've never been to the riviera so I can't say anything about it. But I've been to my best friends wedding at chateau and it was beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous! I also liked how my friend and her husband came up out of the dance floor dancing to their wedding song with the smoke from the dj.
I've never been to the Riviera but I've heard great things. I have been to two weddings and Chateau Briand and they were so much fun!!
I've never been to the Chateau Briand but I did go see the Riviera. Personally I wasn't into the dark wood instead Riviera but loved the outside ceremony area. I would just advise you to consider how many people you are having because I know the Riviera seemed a little tight to me for a lot of people.
I vote Chateau Briand! I recently went to a wedding at The Riviera and their food wasn't good. I've never been to a wedding at Chateau Briand but I did go to one of their NYE events and their food was amazing. I also really like the outdoors at Chateau Briand.
