ok girls, bora bora to do it the way i wanna do it is just not gonna happen, plus i got really scared of the bugs i heard about in the garden rooms (i know that its tropical and everything but still scares me im deathly afraid).
so our next plan was to do hawaii, but from what i see in the pics the beaches are nice but i feel like caribbean beaches are nicer! i didnt want to do the caribbean because this felt more accessible to me, meaning i felt we could go back another time in our lives... BUT Anguilla looks soooo nice! and i ve beeen looking at reviews and seems to be anguilla is the choice.
so what would you choose? HAWAII OR ANGUILLA?

I think I would pick Hawaii...because it's not as easy to get to...like you said. And Hawaii is amazing!! There is so much do. I only went to Maui and never wanted to leave. And I hear some of the other islands are even more beautiful.
What I liked best about Hawaii is that there is more to do than sit on the beach.

If I had the choice (and wasn't terrified of the long plane ride-lol!) I would pick Hawaii. Especially if you think this may be your only chance to get there for a while. I say go for it!

Well I was born and raised in the Caribbean and I have been to many of the islands and yes Anguilla is very nice....I have lots of friends and family that live there...I would prob still pick Hawaii for your HM though and maybe for your 1yr anni you can visit Anguilla.

hawaii!! cuz its so far and there is so much to see - volcanos, island hopping, etc etc. i only hear good things about hawaii
are you active ppl or resort ppl? you may also want to look into costa rica.

I have heard amazing things about anguilla, that is where we were originally going to go.... only didn't go b/c we heard the antigua had the nicest beaches in the carribbean so we switched it! My best friend has gone a few times and RAVES about anguilla!!!

we're active....we basically wanna hang around a gorgeous beach during the day and do activites and excusrsions, go back to the room, shower get dressed go to dinner and then drink ourselves to sleep lol

not to say that ive heard that anyone is dissapointed with anguilla but i really think Hawaii is a once in a lifetime trip and absoultely noone is ever dissapointed with Hawaii. out of the 4 people who i know who've visitied, all have seriously thought about moving there,. i think its the right place to go if its in your budget and it also has a million things to do but you can lay on the beach for as long as you want...if you wanted.

my sister went to HAWAII for her HM - She loved it, but from the pictures she took it did not look as nice as some other islands. ANGUILLA looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! St. Lucia is the hawaii of the Caribbean (so I have been told)

Hmmm, I think I would do Hawaii but Anguilla looks beautiful! We were trying to decide between Hawaii and Aruba and we chose Aruba because we couldn't do Hawaii they way we really wanted to being we are on a budget.

I would choose Hawaii ----it is sooo beautiful! We went to Oahu and Maui and had a great time. There is so much to do. You could go for surfing lessons(so much fun!), hike up the volcano or just relax on the beach. There are many hiking tours you could sign up for. We also went whale watching in Maui which was great!

hmmm i would def try to do hawaii...you're so right abt the caribbean... its so easy to get to and such a short flight!

we are thinking of doing hawaii and then going to bora bora for 3- 4 nights- its an only a short plane ride( i think 1-2 hours) away from hawaii. we found great deals for bora bora though the zip 2 there website. 950pp for 3 nights at the Sofitel is the first one i can remember- pretty nice price!
if you go to hawaii, you are sooooo close to bora bora, you MUST go there! im obsessed with it lol

fh and i have been having the same problem. i have never been to anguilla does look beautiful but IMO it is the type of place you can always go to. ur getting married in november just kind in mind the very end of hurrican season. hawaii is kind of a one in a lifetime thing because of the flight distance and it is kind of expensive. my sister went to oahu and maui for her HM and just from her pictures i knew thats where FH and i would go. the sunsets in maui, flowers, beaches, luau just have honeymoon written all over it. also we r going to try and get a flight home that will allow us to spend 2 days in vegas
