My entire family basically lives in Nassau and the church is in nassau. I am trying to find a hall that is pretty inside and outside....and doesn't cost an arm and a leg...My ideal would be Oheka castle or The Carltun but they are both so expensive...anyone have any opinions on good places...I would appreciate it!!!!

Try the SandCastle in Franklin Square, and I think Areca is also in Nassau. Also the Crescent Beach Club is on the water in Bayville.
Thank you all so much! You guys gave me ideas that I hadn't even thought of!! Thank you again!

Re: Can't find a hall..help
I am freaking out already. I am having such a hard time finding a place that I like everything. It doesn't seem like I can find a place that the outside will be just as beautiful as the inside. I think I've found something then I realize that if it rains that everone will be stuffed into a tiny cocktail hour room...I just can't wait until I choose a place. Then hopefully I won't be so stressed. Right?

I think you should check out North Ritz Club, I looked at a lot of places, even the ones that people are recommending to you, but I thought North Ritz Club was the best, it has enough space - there is only one event at a time, It's decor is very elegant and classy, it's in Syosset on Jericho Tpke.

I'm getting married in the Bourne Mansion. It's not nearly as expensive as Oheka, and actually, I liked it better than Oheka. Here's some pics.
