can't find dress!!

can't find dress!!

i have called about 15 places on LI, looking for the Maggie Sottero Anniston dress and no one has it. Does anyone know of any bridal salons that will order a sample for you to try on without having to purchase the dress? Thanks!

have you tried NYC stores?

you're wedding is also three years away, you sure you want to start trying to get a dress now? styles can change and they could come out with lots more :)

i was in loooooooove with this dress for the longest time!

bridal suite of bayshore was willing to order it for me for $50 and if ended up purchasing it they would apply the 50 towards my purchase

if you really feel its your dream dress I think 50 is worth it

I ended up trying on a very similar dress from RK bridal and wasn't in love like i thought i would be so I never got the sample of the anniston

Have you tried Lilettes? I ask because the woman went into the stock downstairs and pulled out an old Maggie for me. She didn't know she had it until she went down there and looked. Can't hurt to ask!

Try NYC and if not, if you are really in love with it maybe pay a fee for them to get u a sample.. of course if they aren't asking an outrageous price

I already tried that one! I was interested in the Isadora Marie - had seen it in magazines and fell in love with the dress. I could not find the dress anywhere!. I thought that customer service should be able to tell me which stores carried which dress - boy was I wrong. They coulnd't even tell me which stores had ordered or purchased the dress. I finally found the dress - went to try it on and it was not the one! Beautiful dress but not for me. I have decided on a different gown and love it! I know the sinking feeling that you get in the pit of our stomach that this is the only dress for you - that is until I tried on the gown lol.

I would do this.... i am having the same issue the dress i am INLOVEEEE with - the designer went out of business...atleast yours is somewhereeee

can you try on another gown that is similar to it?

only asking because you fell in love with the pic in a magazine.

things are so different in person and you might not like that type of gown on you.

Try Wedding Atllier on 10th in the city! They are also incredible. I had the ultimate experience working with those ladies. Ask for Jessica!

bridal suite in bay shore had told me that i could order a certain dress just to try on if i gave a deposit (200) just make sure youre getting a fair price on the dress and alterations before they order the sample

Wow, they told me 200. I really really cannot deal with these places im so glad im halfway done.

Have you tired Helens , they do a lot of maggies trunk shows. you really need to get on top of this though, i though it took about 8 months for maggies to come in!!!!
