Can't get a hold of a vendor

I'm trying to make an appointment with a vendor, I emailed them directly, then through LIW and I tried to call them but their phone just kept ringing and there was no voice mail or answering machine. It's been about two weeks since I last tried, and I know this is a busy time of year, should I try again sometime this week?

I guess I'm spolied, everyone I've contacted got back to me within a few days, or I only needed to contact them 1-2 times.

honestly this is how I weeded out vendors. I would email or contact via phone and the vendors that didn't get back to me - well I wouldn't book them. I want a vendor that has time to answer my questions and won't make me wait weeks.

This happened to me too w/ one vendor & I ended up contacting someone else. They got back to me 2 weeks later but at that point I just never got back to them. I don't want to be left waiting & wondering. I know it may be a busy time, but 2 weeks is just too long in my opinion to get back to a potential client.

Thanks, it's just disappointing, I guess. She does really great work and I was looking forward to speaking with her. All well.

It's disappointing, and I weeded out vendors the same. Just keep in mind that it is busy season and vacation season!

I remember reading that some LIW make up and or hair vendors take a while to get back to you, but they are held in very high reguard here... and girls swear by them... im forgetting which particular vendor they were talking about though...

It's not a hair or makeup vendor, it's a florist.

try calling during the week. if they are too busy to talk to u how personal can it be, do u really want that?

You really shouldn't have to chase after a vendor.
I would check and make sure you have the right #, how many times have you tried calling? Even if they are busy, they should still answer their phones, or at least have some kind of answering service.
