i'm not giving up yet. almost up to page 200. the story bores me & i don't like the author's writing style at all. i'll finish it though- need to see what happens with raleigh & his 'daddy' as he likes to call him.
anyone else struggling with this one??

I struggled. And stopped. I learned that lesson during Bel Canto!! If I can't get into it (I mean REALLY can't get into it - I understand for book club that you might have to read something you don't enjoy..but I need to be able to at least be interested in some part of it.) I am reading Empire Falls now and am going to try Handling Sin again by the end of the week to be in on the review.
