Okay...I think I am having a nervous breakdown. I decided I am going to do a donation and a small favor as well. My mother has MS and a good friend of our was just diagnosed with Leukemia.
Is it dumb to donate to both? My idea: I would put the scroll in front or on top of the dinner plate. Then I was thinking about purchasing the bracelets from both organization and putting them near the scroll. ex) 50 MS bracelets, 50 Leukemia bracelets
Now that I just wrote this, I am thinking I have to get the same amount of bracelets as guests, so each person has one. This may become a fortune.

I would see how much the braclets cost, most are usually just 1$ when you order it from there site... then buy a stack of nice paper, and type something out yourself! it will work

I think the donation favors are a wonderful idea.
Could you do half the bracelets in one color and the second half in the other? The scroll would mention which bracelet is for the two charities.

I think the donation alone is fine. also if you buy these bracelets just from a company than usually the money for the bracelets does not go to the actual charity. The company makes money from it. that really annoys me b/c whats the point of the bracelet if it does not go to the actual cause. For instance I see people in china town buying these bracelets and they have to know the money isn't going to the charity. I think if you put in the scroll in honor of your mother that would be really nice.
