Wow! When I first started at LIW, I really felt that this place was a good and supportive forum. I still think it is, but why is everyone jumping down everyone's throat lately? What gives?
I would say that LIW is full of peaks and valleys...sometimes it's just like one great big hug on these boards. Othertimes, it's every (wo)man for him/her self...
It's a shame.
I find this to be a very supportive forum most of the time. I do think that sometimes people open up debate and are not ready to deal with what follows. Sometimes I think that people don't understand that while I can disagree with your viewpoint I still respect your right to have and voice it. The fact that I have the same right and utilize it does not mean that I wish you (not you personally, but in general) any ill will.
Even the whole business w/ allure. Political debates are one thing...as long as people respect other people's opinion. there are enough people that we all run into in our everyday life that are nasty or attack us. Who wnats to come online to that same thing too? I know, life sucks, get a helmet...
I totally understand what you are saying. For some of us this is an escape from the woes of the outside world. Or a place to complain and gather outside opinions about the world, but it should really try to remain respectful.

IMO..you can't expect all the people on LIW to get along 100% of the time...
The way that i look at it..we are one big disfunctional,extended family!![]()
We get along, we agrue, we laugh and cry together, we share our lives with one another..
And yes we can be insensitive or overly sensitive and rude..
Thats all apart of being in this little family of ours..If we all agreed and got along all of the time, it would be extremely boring lol![]()
