Dani, check the wedding services part of this site..

I referred this one reformed rabbi to Todd's cousin, who's having a duel ceremony..

Also, ask your priest, from researching this stuff for Todd's cousin, I found out that some reverands/rabbi's work together, like a tag team! lol

I do not think a reformed rabbi is going to marry u on a Friday night, there is usually services on a Friday night and religion is religion whether u are reformed, conservative or orthodox. That is why we picked a Sunday for our wedding. I would maybe call around, but I cannot imagine a rabbi doing that on a Friday night.

A reformed Rabbi will do it. We are getting married on a Saturday afternoon and I found someone who would have done it (Rabbi Renee Feller) - I'll get the # if you want.

We opted to get the a cantor because we found a cantor and a reverend who came together.

***EDITED to remove Cantor Benedicts phone number, as I have learned that he passed away. I did not want to remove my comments below, because he was fabulous.***

Cantor Benedict did my jewish wedding ceremony, and was recommended by both Oheka and the Carlyle. In addition to being a Cantor, he is a former opera singer. We asked him for a standard reformed jewish ceremony. The ceremony felt personal, was kept short, everything that was in hebrew was well explained, and it was on the light hearted side. If you want a very somber ceremony, he's not the one for you. If you'd like everyone to laugh a little, and smile throughout your ceremony, he's perfect. Did you ever watch the Nanny? Well, apparently he performed the wedding for Fran Drescher's sister, and she liked him so much that she asked him to be on the show -- when the nanny gets married he's the officiant. LOL. I saw the tape, too funny. If you look into using him, he'll invite you to his house, sing for you, and tell you all sorts of interesting stories. We loved him.

I was the one who said I do not think a reformed rabbi would do it, but try calling Community Reform Temple in Westbury, it is a woman rabbi and you never know.
