Cap Juluca-Anguilla

We just started to get prices for Cap Juluca for our HM. What should I be looking for or definately get when going to Cap, (for those who have gone or plan to go.) Any advice for me?

Those are the top 2 things we keep hearing.
Have you ever been there? Do you know anything about Cap Juluca?

I researched it. Cap Juluca is supposed to be really nice. So is Cuisinart in Anguilla. My aunt and uncle have been to Cap and liked it. Eventually, I would like to go. But for my HM, I wanted more to do.

We considered Cuinsart in Anguilla as one of our choices (looked great)...but ended up at Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda.

That same aunt and uncle of mine who has been to Cap Juluca also has been to Little Dix Bay. I think they like Little Dix better. I think there are less people.

We're going to Cap for our HM - I've done a lot of research - there is actually a good amount to do - horseback riding, swimming with dolphins (if you like that - they arrange it all for you, etc..), all types of water sports, a spa on premisis - great restaurants & a few cool beach bars ....we're also renting a jeep to tour the island for a day and visit other resorts, etc.. We have other things in our package as well, but along the same lines (private island for the day, snorkeling trip, etc...) We're also doing St. Martin for a day while we're there so we can do some shopping and stuff - then for the last five days of our HM, we're going to St. Barth's which is a more active island as far as shopping, touring the island, restaurants, etc...
We figured we'd do Cap first because it's much more relaxing - if you're into sight seeing, it's not the place to go - but it has pretty much the same options as most islands - just more seclusion if you choose that.

Good luck - if you have any questions, feel free to FM me.

We're going to Cap as well Leeleelee, thanks for all that info! I didn't know they had a dolphin thing there too! That's great!

If you're looking for a travel agent, definitely check out John from MAS Travel. He got us not only the best price but he beat the price of everyone else even though he got us a junior suite (instead of the superior or deluxe room) AND he was the only one to get us a free night's stay. He also has a lot of info!

Hey - yeah I didn't realize that either about the dolphin thing & then I read it somewhere- I'm pretty sure it's not done right AT Cap, but I know that they arrange that and the horse-back riding for you at another beach.... I am going to contact the concierge to get more details - I'll FM you when I find out more. :)

I'm soooo jealous. That's where FH and I wanted to go
on our honeymoon but it's closed the whole month
of October. It looks so beautiful. We still don't know where
were going

We went to Cap Juluca for our honeymoon. It was amazing. The rooms are breathtaking. It is definitely a low-key place, but it was exactly what we wanted. After the craziness that goes on the last days before the wedding, all we wanted to do was relax.

We did a bunch of water sports and took a sunset cruise. We also rented mopeds and rode around the island. It was a perfect spot for a honeymoon and I can not wait to go back!!

We didn't do the swimming with dolphins although we had planned to. If we go back we'll definitely have to try it!

We went to Cap Juluca for part of our HM. We stayed there for a week and it was heaven!! We spent another week in St. Barts.

There isn't much to do on Anguilla, but it's known for its beaches and restaurants. We had a great time and just spent the first week relaxing. It's a great resort and I would go back in a heartbeat!! Here are some pics
