Capitale - lighting/audio surcharge
Anybody have experience with this BML Blackbird additional lighting/audio charge?
I just booked Capitale, and asked explicitly if there are any 'additional' or 'hidden' charges, and the BM told me no.
And then ten minutes later, when he introduced me to the lighting company (which is exclusive to the venue) they told me it will be $3500 for the basic package, which includes use of the audio system and column uplights.
I asked what happens if I don't get the basic package, and they looked at me like I have two heads.
Is this typical of an RH? Don't they include basic lighting and audio?
Seemed to me like a fairly blatant upcharge, but looking for other more experienced brides to weigh in. Thanks for your help!
