Captain Bill's

Hey everyone!

This is my first time posting here, but I've been browsing over some of your reviews trying to get a better idea of what reception hall I'd like. Right now I'm leaning towards Captain Bill's in Bay Shore, but I hadn't seen many recent reviews. I was wondering if anybody had a wedding or went to one there recently and if they were happy or unhappy with it. What I've heard so far was positive, but I wanted to know if there were any special considerations or things I should ask before signing on the dotted line.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I've never been there, but a coworker of mine got married there last year and from what I've heard, from other coworkers who went, everything was great!

i've been to 2 weddings in the bay house. they both went smoothly and the food was yummy--best crab cake of my life, including the ones i had in MD. my cousin and her wedding party came down the spiral staircase when they were introduced, and it made for some truly lovely pics! HTH

I actually live down the block from Captain Bills and have known it my whole life. The food there is great. I looked into in for my reception...but it's kinda chessy seeing how its right down the block. The wedding party would have to walk down there...lol. But I am actually thinking about having my engagement party there...and the prices for that are much cheaper. Good Luck!

Re: Captain Bill's

Hey everyone thanks for the info!

Does anyone have any opinions on the quantity of food? (It seems everyone agrees the quality is excellent).

Also has anybody gotten the Harborview Room (inside smaler room ) for CH for a smaller sized wedding instead of the patio?

Thanks again.
