I have the same question!! I don't want tulle, but the room is a little spare so I thought something should be added...one thing I decided on was all high centerpieces in the room...but staircase is still an issue.

Have either of you done tasting or cake yet?

I've never been to a wedding there...but I've heard nothing but great things from people who have. I actually want to go look at the room again soon, because we booked in Feb., and I want to see how the deck looks with the tent up.

I've heard good things about the bakery too. Were they easy to work with?

So nice! FH wanted Choc. I wanted white (b/c I always pictured a white cake). She was so nice trying to make both of us happy. I forgot her name but they were so nice!

No prob. As for the tent, the wedding we went to we went late b/c of wrok so I didnt see it. I too want to check it out b/c the deck seems so small.

Since I am getting married around xmas time, Donna said the stairs will be decorated with the winter greens and white lights. Apparently they decorate the day after thanksgiving and my wedding is thanksgiving weekend..

That sounds really nice. I can picture the stairs decorated like that....sounds awesome.

Still wondering what to do for July though???

Re: Captain Bills Bayview House Brides

I was thinking about getting cheap white lights and wrapping it around stair case. The prob is it can look cheezy. I might just give them a call and ask what past brides did!

Yea, i think you should call and see what past brides did. MAybe you can ask your florist what they would recommend?

Hi ! I am not a cap't bill bride but our friends were married there (it'll be 2 years this Sept.) the food was awesome !!! There were some white bows on the stair case that day - I don't know if Keria did that or it was already there though.
