In regards to body work on a car after an accident, has anyone had to pay more than the estimate the insurance co. gave them?

If you brought the car to the body shop... and the insurance company works out a deal with the shop saying it will cost say $1250 for your car (minus deductable).... the dealer is not supposed to charge you any more. Thats the price.
If they do... fight it with your insurance company.

I had to leave my car on Friday. Hope to have it back by Wed. The guy that hit me, his insurance co. is paying so far for my rental car. Im not too sure how much im getting to get my bumper fixed. Hope it all works out!
