Car accident this morning

sooo to add to my week of hell of one thing after another, on my way to work this morning some d bag pulled out in front of me as I was doing 60 mph... i don't know how me or the guy are ok.... I just got back from the hospital...... I am ok I have bruises from the seatbelt and my back is VERY sore but nothing serious.

I was never in an accident before and it was the scariest moment of my life. I thought I was going to be seriously hurt.

My bridal shower and Bach party is on saturday and we are driving down to LI. Thank goodness I didn't break something or anything. And I am grateful this happened two days before my shower and not two days before the wedding!

I hope I am feeling better on sat so I can enjoy my parties!!

I am more and more defensive as I get in my car. People think they are the only people on the road and simply just don't pay attention. I am happy to hear that you are okay and weren't seriously injured.

im so sorry this happened to you. some people should not be driving. what was he thinking?? ohh boyy. but thank god you're ok and it wasnt anything worse. hope you're feeling better soon so you can really enjoy the upcoming weekend.

and it's so ironic i have been taking FH's car all week (his expensive fancy Rogue lol) and at the last minute i decided to take my tank of a chevy lumina clunker that was on it's last breath anyway. Thank god I was driving the tank, i prob would have been more hurt if i was in the rogue. I plowed right through the other guys car. I swerved at the last sec so i missed his door by inches and most of the damage was in his back driver side door. His car is completely obliterated.

and yea he was on a side road pulling out, at a stop sign. It wasn't a blind curve or ANYTHING. You could see a mile down the road. He pulled out in front of me when I was 20 ft away from him.

And after the impact I was shaken up in the car and I had spun him around... all I hear is, 'My bad....' It took all my self control not to flip my ****... UMMMMM YA THINK???????

OMG...thank god you are ok!! Take it easy the next couple of days....you may feel ok now but those aches and pains set in a few days after an accident....you are so hopped up on adrenaline you don't always feel the soreness right away.... FEEL BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain, I was in my first car accident last month (on the 20th). Sooooo scary!!

Do ice for the 2st 3 days, and then heat. Motrin every 4 hours. I went to LIJ and thats what the doctor told me to do.
