Car Colors . . . (pics fixed)
I have had two silver cars in a row and plan on getting the Honda CRV in January. I have always loved silver because aside from being my favorit color, it doesn't show dirt and scratches easily. However, I am SO tired of having a silver car . . . I wanted to get black, but then people have commented to me 'you can't see black at night, so it might cost you more insurance' and 'black shows EVERYTHING.' Then I was thinking of a sandstone color (goldish) and I am not so sure I like that color. Any opinions on the color I should get?Silver Moss Metalic

What about white? Is that an option? If not, I'd stick with silver. I bought my new car in white and I love it. I've always had white cars. I just think they look cleaner longer and they stand out a little more.

sahara sand has the same pros as silver.....it doesn't show dirt and scratches as easily as a black car. And to correct those that say insurance is high on black cars....I believe it's high for red cars because it's been know that red cars get hit the most

I have a black CR-V, and I love everything about it, except that it does look dirty very soon after getting it washed. But, I love how it looks anyway, I love that the molding blends in. If you're really opposed to black, I would get the silver moss, I think it is the first year that they are offering it.

I do like the silver moss (and I do believe it is the first year) - I LOVE the black, but do fear dirt, fading and white lines . . .

Re: Car Colors . . . (pics fixed)
Well, I don't have any white lines, barely any scratches (no more noticable than the scratches on my mom's silver car) and the paint hasn't faded. And I'm pretty tough on the car, for two years I parked it on a major road with lots of salt in the winter, and always a ton of traffic. Also, I can go for a car wash once a week, but then sometimes I will go without a wash for a month or two, and the paint still looks pretty much as good as the day I bought it, which will be three years ago this Dec. I love the car, when it's time for a new car, I will probably get another CR-V, and it will probably be black, if that says anything.

We goit FI car in black and it shows EVERY bit of dirt -- silver has that same feel but not as hard to take.

Re: Car Colors . . . (pics fixed)
I am partial to silver. It looks clean (takes longer to look dirty) and if it gets scratched it does not show as much. Black seems like a headache considering both those reasons!

Re: Car Colors . . . (pics fixed)
I would say if you love silver but you are sick of a regular silver car then I would get Silver Moss Metallic. It is silver but a little darker and it looks really nice on that truck.I am a car detailer and I have cleaned all colored cars in my life and I would say that the two hardest colors to clean are white and black. White shows everything, dirt, scratches etc and is a real pain to clean, and black is 5 times worse...It shows dirt, scratches, swirl marks, haze, oxidation and anything else that can accumulate on a cars finish.
