car rentals for out of state trips/ETA:do you still get unlimited mileage

DH and I want to rent a car and check out NC, any recommendations? I called enterprise and they said they don't allow out of state travel, only to NJ and CT, TIA

I'm pretty sure Avis and Hertz will let you rent a car and drive it out of state .. I know I've booked Hertz for my boss

i was just looking at avis and hertz for a trip to california. they had something on their website about allowing you to drive to certain parts of mexico, so they'd probably let you drive out of state

Hertz has unlimited mileage, or at least they did last February when we rented a truck and drove cross country! And we had a AAA discount and coupons from those entertainment books.
