Okay here is another blow to wedding plans. I recieved my samples today of some of their pocketfolds. Sorry for anyone that is using them but I think they are not good quality. Im upset because I ordered these samples. I feel like I wasted my money.
I need invites, like Im panicking now. Anyone have any suggestions. I don't want to spend too much money on these things.
Please let me know what you found out. Fm if you like or just post some quotes.
Im looking to make or buy but reasonable price nothing crazy.

Did you order the regular or metallic colors? I used their metallics which i thought were really nice...but i know each person has their own opinion...sorry you were disappointed!

I order the swatch for the metallics because I did not want to pay extra for the color. But I did not like them.

Now see yours look good but it is the material of the pocketfolds I don't like from there.

I used their metallic pocketfold and did not think it was poor quality...in fact I got samples from a dozen or so places, and their quality was much better than most.
Sorry you were disappointed!

Re: Card and Pockets/Pockefolds
ive been working with cards and pockets to make custom pocketfolds and they have been SO awesome. as far as quality goes - i just received a test sample (since my design is not stock) and i do have to admit the paper is a bit flimsy. however i am ordering mine in their linen paper which i had another sample of - its much stiffer and textrued and overall i think its nicer. but then again just because the regular paper appears a bit flimsy - think about when its all assembled with mats and what not. if you have several layers of paper in there a thick stock will make it really heavy and require more postage. just MHO on them. they are really amazing to work with on custom jobs!!

Re: Card and Pockets/Pockefolds
Yeah I gotta say, I got mine from them too. I love mine and get compliments on my mock all the time. We went with the 6x6 because when we got the sample of the smaller one it looked too small, compared to the 6x6. You said you got a swatch? Not the actual pocketfold. I have lost $10 many times over in this life, I would get the real sample and try again. Hope it works out for you.

Yeah, I got a sample from them also and I HATED it!!!!! The only sample I got that I really liked was from Envelopeme.com but they're MORE expensive than Mygatsby.com.....so If it's a matter of getting quality pocketfolds and settling for cheap stuff...just spend the extra $$$ and buy from mygatsby.com I had trouble chosing myself b/c I didn't want to spend more than $200 on invitations but after being disappointed, I'll sacrifice a little in the budget! Good luck and keep looking!

FYI: Note the metalic paper is better than the other paper.
92 lb paper was used for my pockets.... I was able to control the quality by the paper I chose.

Metallic is shinnier & stunning , but i think thats a mtter of opinion. I chose blakc pocket folds so the shinny cardstock wasnt going well with teh shinny ribbon. too much IMO
you should contact PIPPY SWEETS, here are mine, she did a great great job, & by far is very cheep & great to work with
