Card Box

Card Box

Where do you put this during the reception? Does it go on our table? My mother is freaking out that it will sit out in the open and I try to tell her the only people at the wedding are friends and family and the wont be doing anything!!

I have heard of locking it but mine can't do that and I really doubt that people will be stealing from me at my wedding.

Mine is going on the gift table at the reception.

Maybe next to the place cards?

What are you going to do if someone brings a gift? I guess I have this issue because FH is from the south and they think giving $$ is rude and they always give gifts.

We'll have ours on the gift table and since it's screwed together, you can't open it without being obvious with a screw driver.

I'm putting my card box on the table with my wish bowl. I really don't think my friends or family will steal my cards

I've also seen a table set up behind the bride/groom dais, so people come up to the dais and chat with you, and then put their card in the box.

It took me a little while to finish it also - mainly because of the mats that had to be cut and the pictures printed. lol I'm so impatient tho! lol

I know - just over 5 weeks I try not to count the days

I've actually heard that envelopes have been stolen at weddings My mom and a few of her friends insisted we made one that can't be opened easily. Unfortunately, sh!t happens.

we asked our florist for a cage-just rented it from her, and it'll be on our table. i feel more comfortable with it kinda near us.

It's the not the family and friends you have to worry about, its people that can just walk in if you are at a hall with more than one wedding, or staff, which is horrible but it happens. Just put it in a conspicuous place-
