I am debating making a card box for the wedding, and I wanted to know...

Those of you who have custom card boxes, what are you doing with them after the wedding?

MOH wants me to do a bag that she will make and carry around, I like the card boxes, but can't think of what I would do with it after the wedding

im not having a custom one but now that i think about what i will do with mine, i can think of so many good things.

Photos, bills, recipts, just things like that, which you want in an organized place.

Most likely if you want a sentimental purpose, then non-pro wedding photos would be the best idea and wedding cards, one of your invites, anything paper related that will hold some sentimental value in regards to your wedding and/or engagement

If you make a huge For The Modern Bride-esque card box I don't really know what you could do with it afterwards.
You can DIY a card box that has pictures on each side, and then after the wedding you can display it somewhere because it will be like a picture frame.
OR Michael's sells card boxes that are like treasure chest-types and you could keep notes, cards, keepsakes, etc. in it after the wedding.

I love mine.. I got it from the wedding main street...(The website is something like theweddingmainstreet.com.) They will custom it for you. Its stakablr boxes with a box, some bead crystal thing around the top and a ring on the top.. love it!

My ffil is making us a box (he does carpentry as a hobby) - it will be a suprise to me but I know it will have a hinged top so I can put wedding-related memorabelia inside (photos that friends took, cards i want to keep, etc.)
