Card box question...

Hi Ladies,
I'd like to try to make my own card box, however I'm concerned about one detail. Everyone says that covering the boxes with fabric is the way to go, but how do you make sure that everything comes out nice and smooth. You definitely have to make a crease somewhere when you glue it to the box, no? This is the look I like and you can't tell where the fabric is folded, creased, or glued:

Re: Card box question...

i made mine (pics in album) and for the most part I wrapped the boxes like you wrap a present...but the edges of the fabric got folded over to go down the side of the box this way you dont really see the folds. does that make sense?!?! in my head it does but i dont think i explained it well lol

What she said! You can tuck the ends INSIDE the actual cardbox. I mean, if you opened it, you'd see the ends of the fabric taped down, but nobody should be opening your cardbox but you anyway.

Spray Paint. Snowflake on here gave me that idea. I'm still working on mine, should be halfway finished tomorrow and I'll upload a pic.
