I purchased one from Michaels this is something I don't really care about, I tried to care but spending $100 on one from Etsy was annoying me

Card Box Question - Long Island Weddings
My friend made her own but I just don't have those skills. I was going to get one from fairytaleweddingstore.com but I'm still debating whether the money is worth it.

Card Box Question - Long Island Weddings
I found one for $29.99 from AC Moore that I plan on buying. My only concern is that it may be able to fit in someone's big purse defeating the purpose...but I refuse to spend more than 30 bucks on one.

You can purchase hat boxes, adhesive, and fabric at places like joann's fabrics. They have some great tutorials on youtube, but heres one that I found that gives step by step instructions/pics. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-diy-cardbox-inspiration-vs-my-box-pic-heavy#axzz2rpkITm4d

Card Box Question - Long Island Weddings
The reason why I was asking is I got an e-mail from somewhere who rents them out for half price if you reserve it by early February. Trying to see if it's worth it to rent or buy boxes and material and make one.

Card Box Question - Long Island Weddings
I'm just reusing the birdcage my friend used at her wedding. I can't see spending money on something like that. Plus what use does my friend who got married 2 years ago have with this haha

I think we're making one also! FH wants to make it look like a house so we're just going to get some small pieces of wood!

Card Box Question - Long Island Weddings
I didn't really care too much about the card box, but thought a bird cage would be nice. My mom found one on sale I think at Kohls and I just wrapped some ribbon and added some flowers to it, I used whatever scraps I had laying around so technically it was a free project! lol I didn't really wanna go crazy over it so I'm glad its done and simple lol

Card Box Question - Long Island Weddings
We purchased a bird cage from save-on-crafts.com. We are having our vendor who is doing all of our paper supplies make a sign for it that says Cards to match our invites.
