So I'm getting nervous hearing about stolen envelopes at weddings. What are you guys doing for your card holders? Is someone collecting envelopes for you? Are you having a card table?

I opted to buy a card box. My mom's side is chinese, so some of my family typically give red envelops filled with cash, and it just gives me piece of mind knowing they're safely tucked away. We'll also have someone attending to it.
I bought my card box on etsy. I paid $100 for a 3 tier card box, and that included shipping. The seller is exoticweddingboxes, and she had the best prices that I've seen. I sent her the pic below, and she customized it to include my wedding monogram and added an extra tier for a reasonable price.

I'm using a vintage looking suitcase. Not very secure, but I'm hoping it will be close to us and I have no cleptos on my guest list!

I was worried about that too. Since Chateau Briand has multiple events going on at the same time, I'm more worried about the wedding crashers at other events, not my guests.

This is exactly what I'm worried about. Although at the Fox Hollow, I'm in the Somerley Room and it's kind of disconnected from the rest of the venue and they keep the card table near mine and Phil's table... but still I'm nervous.
My friend had a really pretty photo box that spun and had like 4 photos... and it had a lock. I'm thinking of doing something similar!

I'm using a bird cage, the bottom part has cross bars so you can't get the card through, you can only slide them in through the top. I wanted this feature so cards wouldn't fall out though, I'm not worried about stolen cards. Also the table is right between my sweetheart table and my bridesmaid's table.

Maybe I'm just naive, but it never even crossed my mind that someone would steal the cards! I was going to do the vintage suitcase thing too, and now I don't know.

Exactly this! I'm not worried. From my own experiences, people usually put checks in the envelope so if anything went missing, they couldn't be cashed anyway bc they'd be made out to us. I'm sticking with my suitcase!!
