Cardbox Idea....
My cardbox was a MAILBOX!! I got the idea from anther LI wedding bride but cannot remember who, so if you did this...chime in!! ![]()
I ordered a real white mailbox from walmart.com (about $22) then I went to Target and got the letter stickers for the mailboxes...small & large sizes. (about $10)
I put my new last name on the front & The Vera's on the sides with our wedding date. I also had a few wedding stickers left over from the shower.
The night before the wedding I had the idea of getting sharpies an having everyone sign the mailbox (in lieu of a guestbook) IT WAS A HUGE hit!!! The DJ kept reminding everyone to stop by and sign the mailbox!! I am still looking for a pic with all the guests having signed it but all i found was one before pic...
This was so easy to make and the guests loved it..my cousin even flipped it over and wrote on the bottom!!
adding -- the date is blocked in this pic but it says in small letters ... Est. 3 -15 - 09
