cardbox or bridcage?

cardbox or bridcage?

Ok I need opinions & help!

I am wondering if I should do a cardbox or the birdcage option...I like both. Cardbox would be DIY and I don't know how to do it! So many girls here seem to be doing a great job in creating these. If you think I should do a carbox---any tips on how to make them??? Or should I just do a nice and simple birdcage?

Thanks =)

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I was going to do a birdcage because they are simple and can be very elegant but I was advised against it as cards can 'slip' out. I got a Perfect Card Box because it's simple and has a lock. Google it

I like that! Which size did you get? I would get the larger...worried about how many cards would fit. Also, was it hard to put together?

Thanks =)

My mom said she found a wedding cake card box that you rent and it has a lock and key which is something I want so things are safe

I love the birdcage and originally we were going to use our RH's birdcage for the cardbox. But then I found this adorable sunflower box at Michael's that was just too perfect so now we are using that.

I'm leaning towards the birdcage just because it will be easier and take up less time...

I am almost done with my DIY card box. i would also recommend getting one from for the modern bride. i love my box but it took me forever, cost me a fortune and i have a tone of extra ribbon that i bought and michaels wouldnt let me return . i will post a pic of it when it is done. which may be this week since i will be snowed in. if you really wanna do it FM me and i will give you some pointers.

i am doing the 'theperfectcardbox' i fell in love with it and will be able to use it after the wedding. i have gone to wedding where people have stolen envelopes out of the birdcages, so if i didn't buy the box i did, i would have gone for a regular card box
