SO I meant to keep up with a challenge I joined-- page a day in Nov-- well I haven't touched a page but I did finish some cards!!!

Wow Laura, your stuff is terrificl!! I dont have the energy to even begin trying to do anything like this so I will live vicariously through your beautiful work.

I love the baby card with the feet, I thought the feet were pasta. Luke eats ditalini alot and I thought that's what the toes were made from. I'm wrong, right? LOL Very cute. You really have a flair for arranging the stuff too.

Elizabeth--thanks so much!!!!! I keep saying that I am keeping up with all this 'fun' stuff because once we have kids I won't have time!!!

The toes are actually rolled pieces of paper but you are right it does look like pasta!!!!

I was looking through ebay for scrapbooking (your ebay thread got me surfing scrapbook stuff, youre going to be RESPONSIBLE for yet another addiction on my plate )
Anyway, it seems 'CReative Memories' is 'the brand name' to go with for the albums, huh?
Is it better made than others?

I really dread starting on the whole scrapbooking thing because I look at those 'yellowed' photo albums we have of 20years ago, and dont want to invest so much time and effort into something that will turn yucky so fast.. I know, nothing can stay brand new, but whats the key to getting a great quality album that will last?

woo hoo -So excited for your beginning addiction!!!- I blame LIW for my addiction so I will be happy to drag you along!!!

I started with Creative Memories-- so yes I agree that their quality is up there as far as albums and pages go--but beyond that they dont have tons of embellishments and such-- but are a great starting ground--

I use CM albums, pages, protectors, love their tape runner, have photo trimmer, circles and oval cutters, corner rounder, scissors

and then use random other companies for everything else

I would highly suggest going to a CM party to get you started!!!!

As far as the yellowing--if you use Acide Free Lignin Free which most stuff is then you wont get the yellowing!! I know what you mean all of my photo albums are really bad---but now my scrapbooks won't be!!!!!!
