Cardstock printing?

Cardstock printing?

Can anyone recommend cheap color printing on cardstock? I'm doing DIY menus and my printer keeps jamming with the cardstock! Any recommendations would be great!

TIA

Depends on the weight and the printer.

The laser printer I was using would jam with heavy 110lb carstock, but it took 80lb weight without issue.

The laser inkjet could take the110lb cardstock but I hate the inks it prints out, the colors run when wet.

I would say order a bunch of paper samples and try them with your printer.

For my direction cards for my engagement party I used cover stock paper from staples which is exactly like card stock and it is half the price.

They do have a variety of colors but not as many as card stock.

Cover stock is a little thinner so it shouldn't jam in your printer.

we couldnt print on cardstock either. We had to buy the same color paper and print on that and then mount it on cardstock. Here's an example so you can see what I'm talking about

The champagne colored paper with the text on it is regular paper but the pink paper it is mounted on is cardstock
