caribbean

We are so undecided on where to go for our HM. We know we will probably do the caribbean, but have no clue where to go. We want to use airline miles, so we need to book soon.
any ideas???.............

OK....so we have done some more research and are trying to decide between doing Aruba, or going to St. Kitts and St. Thomas. Do you guys have any opinions on these??? I have been to Aruba and would like to go back, but FH is worried that it will be too built up and not romantic. What do you think???
TIA!!

well what are you interested in? crowded, deserted, beaches, nature, eco-tours, all-inclusives???

I've been to Curacao, St. Lucia and the Dominican Republic all were great. Go for the all inclusive resorts.

Re: caribbean

FH and I are going to the Bahamas to the Sandals resort and there are direct flights from JFK to the Bahamas, as well as from LGA and Islip. We'll be doing dolphin swimming, shopping in the city, snorkeling (included in our resort price) and visiting a nearby aquarium (Atlantis).

Re: caribbean

Thanks for the ideas. We are looking for something laid back and relaxing with really nice beaches. We were just in Hawaii and loved it, but I think we need something more relaxing for the HM!

I highly recommend Sandals then - I would recommend getting the DVD and watching it, and you'll see what I mean!!!
