My FI and I have booked the Carltun on the Sound for July 3, 2006. I have read some negative reviews of this facility, but I think it is beautiful inside. The view of the water from inside is very nice also. I am just wondering if anyone has any positive experiences with this facility. Formally known as Sail Harbor. It is depressing to hear only negative comments on this.

Hi, I don't have any feedback on Carltun on the Sound (never been there, never seen it), but I think they're owned by the same people as the Carltun on the Park, which I've heard nothing but rave reveiws about. I'm thinking their quality customer service probably carries over to the Carltun on the Sound.

Awesome food and great view. You won't be disappointed, trust me.
Pay no mind to the negative reviews. The old BM is gone and has been for a long time.

We had our eparty there one and a half years ago...it was on a Saturday afternoon in the winter. We received lots of compliments on the food and the people there were attentive and helpful throughout the event. We didn't have too many details to deal with, since I didn't bother with decor and our menu was very simple, so unfortunately I can't offer more feedback than this. HTH anyways.
