Can anyone give me what they were quoted at these three places??
If you visited in person or had your wedding there, do you think the place is too big for a wedding for 50-65 people?
any place have negatives/not worth visiting?
information will be great. thank you.

Those were my top three choices as well at first until I found out they were out of my budget!!! So I totally understand.
I also liked the old field club and of course the woodlands.

Yeah, the old field club is a bit big for us but BEAUTIFUL and we like the woodlands too but also feel it is a bit big for us. We have seen 25 out of our 30 places and I am getting so tired of looking at places... those were 3 out of the 5 left we have to see, trying to get some information to determine whether or not i should just finish all 30 or give up now lol...
anyone else with quotes for these places or info on them?

I don't have quotes, but I had dinner at the Carltun and the Caryle on the Green's lately. The food/service was excellent at both places; however, imo, the Carltun's food was just a hair better. There were weddings going at both times and everything looked beautiful. I personally preferred the interior at the Carltun, but both are beautifull decorated and very elegant. I have some picutres of Carlye on the Green in my album. Feel free to take a look.

I was told there is a minimum of around 200 at both the Carltun and the Carlyle for Saturday evening. However, if you are looking for a different night, you might be able to use just the smaller room at the Carlyle. 50-65 people is definitely too small of a group for the main room at either of those places. I don't know anything about Inn at New Hyde Park.

I think that the Inn at NHP will be a little too big for the number of guests you're looking to have. I called them when I was looking at RHs and they asked how many guests I was looking to have. I told them 120 and they told me that their minimum was much higher so I ended up not even making an appointment.

For the Inn's main ballroom the mins are high - Friday is about 185-200 and Saturdays are 225, during peak seasons. There are smaller rooms, but they only do one wedding at a time, so I would think they would want to have the main ballroom booked with a different type of event before they could book a smaller wedding. . . . you should call and ask! The pp prob ranges from 120-150. I have had nothing but great things to say about them!

I think the min for the Inn on a sat night is about 200, but if your willing to do an afternoon wedding it may be a lot less

Re: Carltun OR Carlyle on the Green OR Inn @ New Hyde Park
I am obviously partial to the Inn because that is where I am getting married, but I am having a fairly small wedding - max 150 people and I was able to have mine during the day in July on a Saturday. They said I only had to guarantee 100 people for that time and my price would be $115 per person, however I said that I could guarantee at least 120, they brought it down to $110.
The place is amazing, you will not be disappointed, hope that helps! :)

You should try Lombardi's on the Bay in Patchogue. The room is smaller and would be great for a wedding of 50-60 people http://www.lombardisonthebay.com/OnTheBay/
Plus the food at ALL of the Lombardi's establishments is great... can't go wrong with their service. Their prices are pretty decent too since they are a 'newer' hall - it used to be the old Louis XVI until the Lombardi's took it over.

I am partial to the Inn, obviously, but the amount of guest you have, the room might be too big. I was even concerned with the 150 that I had. We were quoted $120++ for a Sunday evening in September. HTH.
