Just in case any one was looking at either of them , they have the same owner and they may be losing the leases on the parks they are both in. It may just be a rummor but be carefull everyone.

Re: Carlye on the green and the carlton
I read about this too. i was actually interested in both of them when I was first looking into RHs. I called to make an appointment with one of them and they never got back to me. I figured something was fishy.
I dont think it's just a rumor.
If you're interested in looking at these two halls, I'd steer clear of them.

Where did you see this? There was an issue with Carlton's lease at Eisenhower Park, but the Carlyle and Carlton aren't owned by the same people.

I herd it from one of my friends that works for a photograher and has connections with a bunch of halls and has herd rummors from people.Even if they arent owned by the same people they are both in parks so there may be something going on with the leases in them.

I heard similar stories about The Woodbury Country Club when I was looking and that is why I never went there to look at the hall.

09er crashing!!!!
Hey Ladies,
I just wanted to clear something up, Carlyle is NOT affiliated whatsoever with Carltun!!! Carlyle is NOT losing a lease by any means and will be around for a very very long time.
I know this for a fact cuz Carlyle is my families company.

2010er crashing!!! My mom and I met with you last year and you were so sweet. You showed us around and you were telling us about the new renovations that the Carlyle would be under going. Your family has a beautiful venue and I've heard nothing but wonderful things about the food and service. You were one of the VERY few places we looked at and the only reason we didn't go with the Carlyle is bc I decided I wanted a different look (a glam hotel with crystal chandeliers, etc.) but I would highly recommend you guys to anyone looking. When my sister starts looking, we will def be at The Carlyle bc that is definitely her taste. I hope your wedding was magical!!!

Just for future reference, be careful when listening to rumors. As with any industry there are always going to be rumors going around about places closing. I must have heard it about 5 times with the company I work for too and we're not closing.
