A guy from work said he had his bar mitzvah at Sterling at Bethpage when I told him we are going to see the Carlyle at Bethpage? He is about my age so I assume his bar mitzvah was 17 years ago or so?
Just curious.
His wedding was in Michigan though. His wife's parents planned it and paid for it all.

they are differant places. the sterling used to be called the imperial manor.

Yes, they are probably 5 miles apart. Carlye is located in Bethpage State Park (site of US Open) and Sterling is located on the other side of town on a main road... I know the area well (I'm always go that way to get my hair cut) but don't know the name of the road

The Sterling is on Route 107 (aka Hicksville Rd.) I think Carlyle and Sterling are extremely different types of places. I've never been to the Sterling, but the settings are very different. I have a feeling the prices may be very different as well.

Oh, okay. Now I understand why he did not know about the atrium.....because there is not one at the Sterling at Bethpage.
