Carlyle Brides

Going to look there this week.

Anyone remember minimum details for Fri. Sat and Sunday nights?

We are planning for 175ish and will prob. have to settle for a Sun there.

I just hope it is enough and we won't look 'lost' in the room. (that is is the price is right.... or workable!)

Pullllease! Talk about getting lost - we are only having about 125 people in that huge room. We are adding living room groupings to the corners (couches, cocktail tables, and trees) and pulling the tables in closer to the dance floor. I wouldn't be nervous at 175. You are fine minimum-wise for a Friday night - not sure about Saturday.....

I got married there on a Sunday afternoon and had a 200 person minimum. I ended up only havng 190 but had to pay for the 200. Originally I thought I would have 200 so I didn't try to negotiate the minimum. I do recall her telling me the per person price would be higher if the minimum were less. I am still very happy with how the wedding turned out. Carlyle is beautiful. As for 175 people getting lost in the room, I wouldn't worry, 190 was perfect and I am sure 15 less won't matter.
Good luck!

LauraPete,

Are they doing the couches for you? Was it something they mentioned or suggested?

Also, I am worried about the cocktail hour room? I'm afraid it is too small....

I had a 150 on the button and we didn't do the couch thing.. our minimum was 150 for a Friday night (but we also got married and January and booked only 7 months before the wedding).

the cocktail hour room was fine.
