Have you seen the hype about the US Open all over TV? It is so exciting!! My fiance was there earlier this week to watch the players practice.He said everything was perfect, and the grounds looked great. My invitations went out on June 1st, and the replies are coming back every day. I only have 3 regrets so far! How are things in your planning going? Continued success to all...

I'm getting a bit nervous with rain delays... hehe I know it won't be delayed as far as my date, just because I wanted to be sure that all the porta-potties are moved before my wedding! LOL It is fun to see all the coverage. Have you come across any photos of Carlyle in the coverage? Carlyle just changed their web site too by the way if you didn't notice. I wish it had some more pictures!

My fiance was there too, and he said it looks amazing right now! On the news I saw a shot of the back of the ballroom. The stands are right in front of those windows. Its so exciting to see it all in the news! I hope they keep up the looks of the grounds until my wedding!!!

I would think they'd be gone by then..... but who knows, with all this rain, maybe the games will be postponed! (just kidding, they'll be gone!!) Actually, my fiance is convinced that the grounds will stay beautiful long after the open is over because now, golfers will want to travel from all over to play golf here. Pretty cool!
