Carlyle on the Green Prices

Carlyle on the Green Prices

I won't be able to see the place until after the US Open. So I was wondering if anyone knew how much it is per person on a Sat. night. Thanks!

www.weddingfacilitiesandservices.com

on this website it lists the price at Carlyle from $100 - $250 per person. I guess it depends on when you want to get married, but I'm sure that a Saturday night from June - September is probably the most.

That website is very good b/c it lists the prices at all the catering halls.

Last November when we were quoted our prices, they told us the prices were as follows:
Saturday nights -$185 per person
Saturday and Sunday days -$125 pp
Friday and Sunday nights -$145 pp

I dont know if they've gone up since then. We were able to negotiate our price down. Also keep in mind that different times of the year are less expensive (December to March usually). I am getting married there so feel free to ask me any questions you would like!

Also, since you cant see the place until after the us open, check out their website: www.carlyleatbethpage.com
they have three dimensional tours of the place on it.

When I went to look at the Carlye on the Green they quoted me 185 plus gratuity and taxes for as Sat. Night. I liked Carlyle but found it ridiculously priced It comes out to abou 250 a person. I booked the North Ritz Club and found it as elegant and classy as the Carlye at a lot more cheaper.

When we booked back in February 2001, we got the same prices as octobergirl. It really does depend on the time of year and day. A Friday night is usually the least expensive. We are getting married on a Friday night this August, and we are paying $135pp plus tax/grat. Keep in mind though, we booked a while back.Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is a beautiful site, and well worth the money. Check out the site link octobergirl gave you, it will give you a good idea of the place and menu. Good luck!
Continued success to all...

PS- we talked them down in price, because we were the first booking for 2002.

I did a search on Carlyle here and some past brides said they were told by Carlyle that at the end of their wedding they should tip the maitre d' around $1800 (for around a party of 200 or so). The 18% they had already paid didn't include this gratuity. Was this mentioned to any of you?

Another Carlyle Bride here - and the prices listed were what I was also initially quoted in December of 2000.

They can say lots about what you 'should' do for gratuities, in the end its your choice to give what you wish. Nothing is in the contract above the 18% you'd pay anywhere.

Heather when did you book your 2002 wedding?
