So far I have read many great things but a few negatives.. Im very particular and its great I can read these things before my day. One- The cocktail hr was too dark- Its alright the I love the look of candles so I will make sure that thats not an issue Two- not knowing there was additional seating in the other rooms for CH.. Did someone direct guests to the other rooms?? I am having 2 stations set up in that other room and would not be happy if no one knew about them!! three- the bar being outside the main room That gets me worried.. I can see guests hanging out near the bar and not coming back into the ballroom..can they set up a mini bar inside the ballroom to keep some of the guests inside?? any past Caryle Brides let me know how these issues were handled, any other reviews would be great as well!! Thanks!

Re: Carlyle On the Green reviews?
My brother had his wedding htere in April and we are still getting raves about it, not one complaint. The rooms were def. not too dark and people stayed in the main room cocktail room for the food. And by the condition of many of his guests by the end of the night, no one had trouble finding their way to the bar, it's literally like a foot outside the main room, if that, and it's nice to take a break every once and a while to get a drink.

Re: Carlyle On the Green reviews?
I went to a friend's wedding there a year ago and it was one of the best weddings I have ever went to. The cocktail hour and the reception were awesome. I definitely do not think it was too dark. Everything was great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Re: Carlyle On the Green reviews?
Thanks! we went to our tasting tonight with my parents ..we had a great time.. my food was good my fiance had pasta (hes not a big steak person) and his was alright and my parents food was good..no one besides myself ordered choices from the menu so serves them right! plus the chef at the restuarant is not the same as the wedding..i guess its just for a feel for the food. but anyway all in all it went great.. the next step is the 5k deposit!! is that the norm for the 1st deposit??
