I do not remember any of the 2012 brides booking at Carlyle on the Green but I will give a mini review tonight.
I planned a Gala for 322 people for an organization I am on the board of. We are also using Variety Music so I will give a review of them as well

Re: Carlyle on the Green
Ok here is the scoop:
VARIETY MUSIC- Ray did the event and he did a great job. Unfortunately the program went longer than expected so no real time for dancing but that was not Ray's fault. He also brought Tom with him and they both did a great job. Reinforced I made the right decision about booking them for my wedding!
ERIC STRINGER STUDIOS- Eric was a pleasure to work with. He does great work and I recommend you check him out if you do not have a photographer yet- http://www.ericstringerstudios.com/ There was some craziness going on the week before the gala and he went out of his way to accomodate us and get there earlier than we originally contracted for.
CARLYLE ON THE GREEN- The staff were extremely helpful. We had Roman, Nagassi and Christina as our Matre De. They all were sooooo attentive. Nagassi was adorable and he was like anything you need I will make happen. He made sure my drink was full the entire night -- Definitely not a good thing since I had to make presentations to the scholarship winners!
The food was really good. I was not thrilled because it was a buffet but it was one of the best buffets I have had!
They were extremely accomodating. It was scheduled to rain at 6pm which is right when our cocktail our was and it was indoor and outdoor. They kept the outside open (until it downpoured) and they made sure another bar was available so it was not too crowded.

Re: Carlyle on the Green - updated below with review
thanks for the review, Mara!
Carlyle on the Green was the first place we looked at and I looooved it. The ballroom and CH room is gorgeous. And built in uplighting - yes please!
In the end it wasn't right for us....or our wallets. FH thought it was too fancy for him too so I'm glad we found a place FH was more comfortable at.
