We are looking into our honeymoon and considering booking the Carnival Victory 7 day cruise roundtrip fron San Juan. We would stop at St Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, and St Kitts. We received a great rate for a balcony stateroom. Have any of you been on this cruise?? Any advice or suggestions??

I think my dad went on cruise that went to those areas they had a great time. I am going to Barbados in July I will let you know how it goes. But all the places listed are beautiful. If the price is right go for it.!!!

I don't know if this is true or not but when I went to my Travel Agent to book our Caribbean Cruise she told us to stay away from Carnival that they are the least liked Cruise line. But that is just what I heard. We got great rates from Royal Caribbean and ended up booking with them. Maybe you should just look into a Royal Caribbean Cruise. Just a thought.

I think it's a personal preference. I have been on both and I prefer Celebrity but others will find that it is too old farty.
I think any cruise is fantastic and you should def go on this- Southern Carribean is awesome!

Well I've been on Carnival Victory, and i have done San Juan, St. Thomas, Domeninica, and barbads on another ship. I lovd Victory, i thought it was really beautiful, the theme was Under the SEa and it was truly great. I loved he ports as well. Domenica is awesome, like nothing i ever seen. I would strongly recommend it. I love cruises!!!

Thanks for the advice!! I have to talk to my FH and see what he thinks....We are debating between doing a cruise and going to an all inclusive resort. I'm just slightly worried that the itinerary may be too busy. We are in a different port everyday with no days at sea.

We went on a Carnival Cruise from NY, and we had an AMAZING time!!!!!!!!!!!! FH and I are considering the same cruise as you for our honeymoon. We were thinkig of staying in a resort in Puerto Rico for 4-7 days, and then going on the cruise. I priced it a few weeks ago, and it came to about $3000 if I remember correctly!

I get it for about half that due to my travel benefits as a flight attendant Gotta love my job sometimes.. I'm just worried that it will be too busy...staying in Puerto Rico for a few days is a great idea but I think I would want to stay for a few days when we get back to relax from all the running around. Thanks for the idea

I went on Carnival but not that ship. I have no complaints about the ship or the cruiseline.

Re: Carnival Victory - Southern Caribbean
I did that cruise with Carnival on the destiny and it was sooooo much fun, even though we got re-routed due to hurricane. I didn't go to St. Kitts, it was Antigua instead. We love carnival cruise for the younger party atmosphere.
