Found a Carolina Herrera gown I love. A couple of questions -
1) Anyone have experience buying a gown at her NYC boutique? Any reason to buy there vs. Saks or Bergdorf?
2) Any idea if price is negotiable, at her store or any others?

Hey fellow Brooklyn Girl!
I would say that the price of the gown would not be negotiable in Saks or Bergdorf as they are huge corporate department stores. You may be able to get a no tax deal, at the boutique, but I doubt it, again, you're dealing with a big name sold in big name shops. Good luck though...and welcome!

there's usually a slight discount during trunk shows. I highly recommend going to either the actual boutique or Saks/Bergdorf during a trunk show. Or maybe go to Saks/Bergdorf just to see if you like the dress and order when it's trunk show time.
