How can I get a stain out of my carpet? (actually, there are 3 stains - Bama puked a bunch of times after eating a whole tub of butter!)
I used Resolve or whatever that foam carpet cleaner is - put it on the stain immediately, let it sit, and then sponged it off with a wet sponge. The next day the stain was still there so I got out my Bissel carpet cleaner. That still didn't get it up.
Help!
P.S. What a waste of money the Bissel is! It has yet to get my carpet clean

I use OxyClean to get the stains out of my rugs - hasn't failed me yet. I just spray it on then wipe the area with a towel and the stain comes out.

Club soda is also very good but only before the stain sets.

Oh, I'm so sorry. That really sucks!
One of my cats has hairball problems, so I have to clean up periodically. This is how I clean-up (for future reference)- Remove the 'mess' from the carpet. Immediately cover with baking soda. (Pet accidents soak into the carpet and pad. This will pull them out.) Let sit until soaked up. Then I clean with Carbona pet stain remover. I have never had a stain set.

Sorry you weren't happy with the Bissel, cuz that was what I was gonna suggest. I also have a dog, and I have had no problems with is so far. I do use my own soap though, I don't use the bissel one.
