carribean HM???

FH and I are talking over HM ideas. we were originally going to Niagara falls and canada, but i have changed my mind.

our wedding is in July, and we just need something for a week, b/c we are doing a split honeymoon (we are going to New Zealand in october).

so we were thinking Aruba. FH loves casinos and we both like to snorkel. we have never been to the carribean or a beach like holiday before.

we dont want to spend more than 1000 pp for hotel and flight and we just want to go for 5 days.

is aruba expensive? is there another island that someone would recommend, or any hotels or resorts that you have stayed in? anyone have any great websites that they have used for travelling to the carribean?

I've only been to Aruba in the Caribbean, but we loved it. the snorkeling there was really nice - we took a snorkeling tour (Jolly Pirates). The food/hotels range from reasonably prices to very expensive, but there are definatly bargains to be had...

Another option might be Cancun/Riviera Maya, where we were origianlly going to go before Hurricane Wilma. The prices there were really reasonable...
