Ugh! I had to bring my car in today... I knew it was going to need some WORK!! I had to bring it in for my inspection but I had been hearing a squeaky sound with my breaks.. so i was like ok i know something will beup.. well... lucky me.. to pass inspection I need: New Break Pads Rotters(sp?) 2 new tires Windshield Wiper Blades Oil Change An alignment.... Etc etc. $650!!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas to me boooo

That stinks! I feel like everytime you feel like you're just a bit ahead, you fall back behind again. You survive Christmas and you think your worst expenses are over and now this!

oh i know!! FH had to being his car in and his starter was broken so he had to get a new one well $410 later. Money we didnt have right after the holidays!

No i didn't need the tires to pass.. but i was like you know what.. i do a lot of driving.. i better just do it all now.. i was going to trade my car in (it's not leased) in March or April.. but now that I put this money into it.. im going to keep it for another year and then go for a new one It's not bad since I've had the car for almost 5 years and haven't been much money into it at all ......since that time.. but it's just like AHHH~ right after christmas

aww the same thing just happened to my dad! he brough in his car for an inspection thinking it wouldnt ocst him anything.. it cost him over $350.. and this was 2 weeks before christmas.. and then after he paid all of that, last night his car broke down and he has to get it fixed again. so theres even more money. but my dad is pisted. he doesnt see how his car broke down 2 weeks after he got it checked and paid for the part to be fixed.. and now its not working
