Carved pumpkins?

Carved pumpkins?

I remember seeing a picture from a bride on this site who had a pumpkin carved with the names of the bride and groom and their wedding date on it.

Do you guys know where I can have this done? Are there professional pumpkin carvers?

Yes, I LOVED the service from Gene at www.masterpiecepumpkins.com he's in Califormia but it's worth it. FM if you want more details about mine. I attached a pic for you as well. You just need to book him early because he gets very busy this time of year with October just around the corner.

I love it!!!! I will definitely check out his website! Our wedding is not until 2006, but I will definitely contact him.

Thank you!

You can get a funkin from michaels and the stencil and just do it yourself.. it is actually very easy.

My family did these last year with stencils

Christine - did you get the real pumpkin or the fake 'funkin?'

I think I'd want the fake one so I could have it forever. I'd be so sad when the real one rotted...

I am the least artistic person in the world - I would never even attempt to carve the ones from Michael's - but Jen -yours are great!

I bought my funkin from Gene at Masterpiece Pumpkins...I LOVE it! When you order...get both the battery and plug in light...it's only $5 more and a big help when you're not sure where it'll be set up... I'd post a pic but it's packed away safely in it's box. We bought we 'Wedding Leaves' funkin.
