carved pumpkins
hi all... i got quite a few comments about my carved pumpkins... thank you all
here's a quick how-to.
i've included a few pics that inspired me... i found them all on liw, under fall theme
i bought the fake pumpkins at michael's and ac moore right after holloween last year.... on clearance!!!!
i also bought the pumpkin carving tools at michael's. i used the sets that are sold with the book of carving patterns.
i decided on things i wanted them to say...
* i do
* fall in love
* 10-07-06... our wedding date
some of them i just typed it in a word document, printed, and used the tracing tool in the kit.
others, i used 'word art' to make the words curve to fit the pumpkin's shape.
once i did that, i cut a whole in the bottom INSTEAD of the top. that way you don't have to worry about burning yourself when lighting the candle.... although i'm using battery-operated batteries.
I'M ALSO WILLING TO SELL THE PUMPKINS THAT DON'T HAVE OUT NAME OR DATE ON THEM![]()
