Re: Casa de Campo-

Hello,
I was there last June and stayed in one of the villas. The villas are outrageous. We had a five bedroom villa - each had it's own bathroom. There was also an underground pool. The place even came with maid service. The people are very friendly. Pretty much everyone I dealt with spoke English. Once you leave Casa da Campo, it's a different story.

My mom loves Altos de Chavon - a very beautiful village. My family tells me that the hotel is supposed to be nice. The beaches are amazing - water is so blue you can see the fish.

I couldnt tell you about the nightlife or the resturants because I wasn't on vacation when I was there. I was in La Romana for my grandmother's funeral.

I think my sister is planning my bachlorette party there. Hehehehe. So I might have more information about Case de Campo later on. Are you looking into it for a honeymoon? Let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Casa de Campo-

I've heard great things about it. Its supposed to be a large compound with great food and accomodations.

Re: Casa de Campo-

My parents have stayed there and absolutely loved it. My mom said she felt like a queen, anything she wanted, for example with meals, she got! My family is from the Dominican Republic and you will not be disappointed. The people are so friendly!
