This is my dress and I was wondering if I could get some advice from either brides who wore the dress or brides that will wear it in the future. The dress is actually lighter (Color) than what it looks in the photo.
The bridal salon suggested I wear a one hoop crinoline but I am not sure I might want to wear one because my wedding is in August and we are having an outdoor cocktail hour. I also do not like the puffy feel. The dress looks nice without the crinoline.
Did you wear a crinoline with this dress?
How many hoops?
Was the crinoline white or ivory?
If I decide to wear a crinoline....can I get away with wearing a white one? (one hoop) My friend got married last year and has one available ...I really don't want to spend an extra hundred dollars for something I am not sure I want to wear.
I didn't even think of wearing crinolin, one of the reasons I liked this dress is that it wasn't 'poofy'. If you want to make the dress bigger at the bottom then you can add it but the dress alone is very hot (I think they all are) - I wouldn't want any additional layers because with all the dancing, you really do get hot. Why woudl you wear a one hoop crinoline? I didnt wear a crinoline under my dress at all-granted it had it already in the dress but a one hoop does not go with the style dress you are wearing. Im not sure if I would wear a crinoline at all...definitely FM Carolinep24 she did wear that dress

i tried that dress on & i would've worn it with nothing...my actual wedding dress had no crinoline either...i wanted as little material as possible! I don't think it needs it, unless you want some poof.

Thanks ladies I had originaly liked the dress for it neckline and the fact that I don't like 'puffy' dresses. I want to be as natural as possible.
Your advice is much appreciated. Like always....you guys are right and always convince me of what I already believe in

hey dress twin! i actually did wear a small crinoline slip - i was suckered into buying it at the dress shop... wasn't going to wear it, but put it on and said if it gets annoying then i'll take it off. it was ok, it made it a little poofy, but the dress is not a poofy style to begin with so it didn't become a huge ballgown. it didn't bother me, but i guess if i had it to do again i wouldn't have worn it at all. it looks gorgeous without it!
