Okay just a little vent...went to sign the contract July 2nd!!! that's 2 weeks ago, and give them our money down for contract...well they haven't cashed the check yet!!!!! And we haven't gotten the contract back yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANNOYING!!!!!! so we're not in full contract unitl they return it signed!!!!! Our bid was accepted JUNE 6th!!!! WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG!!!!!!

what does your lawyer say? are they disputing anything in the contract or making amendments? you should have had it back by now. as for as the check i recieved my contract back but they didnt cash my down payment check untill weeks later. i hop eyou get the contract soon

Same thing happened to us! It was more than a month after we signed the contracts that they finally signed them and sent them back!
In our case, the sellers decided not to buy the house they were originally going to buy and didnt want to sign our contracts until they had found a new home!

well the lawyer sais they were overnighting it on Wednesday..that means I should have gotten a copy already right?? Guess I'll call my lawyer again today
And no he siad the only change they made was that there are only 6 celiing fans not 7!!!
