Casino themed Coctail hour???

So, we are hiring an outside vendor for our cocktail hour, to bring in blackjack, craps and roulette tables. We are also thinking of a king and queen of hearts ice sculpture, as well as naming the tables after Vegas casinos.

Our favor will be somehow casino related, and I am getting FH a grooms cake that is also somehow casino related.

Basically.... I am looking for thoughts, opinons, other things I can add, while keeping it as un-cheesy as possible.

(I posted about this in the themes section, but, nobody reads that).

oooh, ya know what? Kittythestray had her whole wedding reception be a casino theme (with tables etc). Look up her profile (she has pics) and I would FM her with any questions you might have!

i think its a great idea!!!

But I don't think people will want to only gamble for an hour....

My mom actually somehow found her page when we told her this was what we wanted to do.... I like what she did, I might have to ask her some questions. Thanks!

We were thinking of putting the placecards in those things, but, that can get pricey. We haven't ruled it out yet.

We're thinking for favors, mini wine bottles with those glass charms in the 4 suits.

I think thats such a great idea!!! For favors what about like a deck of card with your names on them or poker chips with your names on it

We haven't ruled out the cards.... and, our STD will be a personalized magnetic poker chip! I think I forgot to add that.

I just read her review again. I definitely am going to price that company also, but, I definitely want it only for the cocktail hour also. It looks like everyone loved it though!
