Where are they located? I think I went and met with them (I met with SO many of them). Their stuff seemed really nice but I went with another photographer who's work I liked better and was a bit cheaper.

My friend used them back in 2002 & her pictures are very nice. They do mostly traditional & posed pics.

Cassarino Studios is located Jericho Turnpike
Mineola. They were expensive but I dont know where else to check. Their photos were good.

I used them and had a less than fantastic experience. If you want more information, my review is on the Bridal Review board. Let me know if you need me to link you.

Re: Cassarino Photography Studios

when i see them we did not click, i think they are too expensive for what they offer- simple things like colorization i was told was 100 per item to be colorized...WHAT? every other place it was MUCH cheaper or included- and personally the man i met with had no clue what the heck he was talking about- he admitted that and told me i should come back- I live in CT, not an option when you make appts for a specific weekend...

also- a neg, was that the parent albums have to be exactly the same, when we asked if we could pay more to have them be different he said he didnt know and that he would be getting back to me, its dec ...we went in march- still waiting

I would try others imho

Well, not that I want to defend them or anything, because I certainly don't. However our parents albums were different. I mean, they each had the same number of photos in them, and were the same size, but I imagine we could've changed that if we'd wanted to, and the photos inside were different, as were the covers of the books.

i am glad it worked out for you, they should def. tell people that since that was a BIG thing for us and when we asked they didnt know...

I stand corrected- It is an option-

After checking the BBB and a few reviews on here I canceled my apt. By that point I was down to my final 2 choices- Duet or Grey. It was tough. They are recommended by my hall and many others tho. Check the bride reviews for the best test. PrincessRose's review really pushed me to the 'no' side. Photography is very personal so see for yourself...

They have the BEST albums I have seen anywhere! Esp the traditional mounted kind (my fave). They only charge for the extra page if you add to the album too- not per image with mounting fees, etc like other places. Check those little fees! They hide them!!

I know cassarino photo. very well. I think they do amazing work. They can be very artistic, they were just a little out of my price range at the time, but really wanted to us them. If you do go ask to speak to Joe or Mike and Karen and Brian are great photographers and work great together.
